Terminator 2 Soundtrack

Autorem soundtracku je stejně jako u prvního dílu Cameronův dvorní skladatel Brad Fiedel. Syntetyzátorový mág se v tvorbě soundtracku opět odrazil od dnes již legenární Theme, ve zbytku soundtracku však dává přednost většinou rytmickému skřípání. Hudba je ideálním doplňkem k filmu, na samotný poslech však zaujme jen ortodoxního příznivce Terminátora. Akční výplň je dosti opakuje, leckdy skladby připomínají jen nahodilou směsku zvuků. Na klidné pasáže toho moc nezbylo, takže ani klavír oproti prvnímu dílu příliš neuslyšíte.

Ústřední píseň k Terminátorovi nazpívaly tehdejší hlavní představitelé hardrockového proudu, Guns´n Roses. Písníčka se však na oficiálním soundtracku neobjevuje, ačkoli ve filmu zazní (když John a jeho kamarád jedou na motorce do Galerie) stejně jako další dvě – „Guitars, Cadillacs“ od Dwighta Yoakama (hraje v baru, kde si Arnold opatřuje šaty) a „Bad to be Bone“ od George Thorogooda (když Arnold vystupuje z baru už oblečený). Písníčka od Guns´n Roses je součástí jejich alba „Use your illusion II“.
