Netflixu se podařilo ulovit do svých sítí další věhlasné jméno. V plánované novince si jednu z hlavních rolí zahraje Gillian Anderson.
Gillian Anderson nedávno oznámila svůj definitivní konec v seriálu The X-Files. Údajně chtěla mít více času i na jiné věci, než je herectví. Nejspíš i z toho důvodu se rozhodla nevrátit se do plánované druhé řady seriálu American Gods.
Její odpočinek od herectví nebude trvat dlouho. Streamovací služba Netflix oznámila, že objednává nový seriál s názvem Sex Education, ve kterém si hlavní roli zahraje právě Gillian Anderson, kterou doplní herec Asa Butterfield. Gillian si v seriálu zahraje sexuální terapeutku a Asa Butterfield bude hrát jejího syna, který si díky pochyceným znalostem od své matky otevře vlastní sexuální kliniku a bude svým spolužákům radit s milostnými problémy.
Seriál by měl vyjít během roku 2019, více informací o plánované novince zatím nebylo prozrazeno.
