Finální výběr filmů ve všech kategorií, které budou nominované na Oscara se dozvíme 23. ledna. Mezitím se můžete podívat na výčet snímků, které se utkají v níže uvedených kategoriích. V kategorii „Vizuální efekty“ mají slušnou šanci třetí Strážci galaxie, v kategorii „Dokumentární hraný film“ pak jeden z nejlidštějších dokumentů uplynulého roku Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie.

Byla by pecka, kdyby patnáctimiliovaná Godzilla shrábla Oscara za nejlepší efekty a vytřela zrak filmům, které vyšly na stovky milionů :D
